We must recognize the times we are in. Is the atmosphere divine or demonic? A divine atmosphere is filled with faith, hope, and love (1 Cor. 13:13). The demonic is filled with opposites: fear, hopelessness, anger. Right now, fear gushes like a firehose from news stations every single minute of every day. Hopelessness permeates the atmosphere. Anger toward any who would dare to disagree with the decisions of those who have chosen to dominate the people of the world is spewed with vehemence from the airwaves. So yes, the demonic is being disgorged across the world. It is seeking to penetrate the soul and spirit of every single person. We choose to resist this and instead to stay in tune with the divine, the voice of our Heavenly Father.

Satan is at work seeking to destroy our hearts and our minds and ultimately our nation. Will he win? Of course not, as he was already defeated by Christ at Calvary. Now we are simply doing mop-up operations as we fulfill Jesus' commission to disciple all nations.

As I listen to the voice of the Spirit, He fills me with faith, hope, and love. Revelation knowledge repels the force of the evil one who has come to kill and destroy our lives and our nation. "Fear Not!" is His message. Say to those with anxious heart, "Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The recompense of God will come, But He will save you" (Isa. 35:4). You will live and not die. The Lord is with you. Go in peace. Love one another. The pure in heart shall see God. Behold I have spoken. Behold it is to be done.

The insane counsel of the wicked need not be followed. Never before have we been told, "You are sick. Go home and do nothing until you are near the point of death, and then come to the hospital and you can die there." The wise and commonsense instructions of all previous generations have always been to take some home remedies, and if they are not sufficient, then go to the doctor for some stronger stuff, and if all that is not sufficient, then go to the hospital. Of course, as Spirit-filled, Bible-believing Christians we always proceed and immerse each of those steps with faith-filled healing prayer, confession of any sins which may have contributed to the sickness (Jas. 5:14-16), and obeying Scriptures and the voice of the Wonderful Counselor. This keeps us walking in divine health.

I wonder why the historic, natural, commonsense, and universal approach to combating sickness, which has been followed throughout our lifetimes, has not been followed during this last year. I can't think of one legitimate reason why this would be; can you? I can think of several illegitimate reasons: evil, domination, control, and destruction come to mind.

I resist all tyranny, domination, and control. "Lording over" is unrighteous behavior (1 Pet. 5:3). I do not succumb to it, nor do I exercise it over others. Jesus sure didn't. He always gave people the right to choose. He even said to His disciples,  "Do you also want to go away?" (Jn. 6:67) Freedom always permeated the atmosphere when Christ, the Servant Leader was present. So never give in to tyranny. Resist it. Pray against it and overthrow it as our forefathers did in the foundation of the United States of America. Let's continue the works of our ancestors and create a righteous land for our children and grandchildren to live in. Our forefathers began the work to leave this blessing for us. We surely have a responsibility to continue it for future generations.
