The preface to my dream: Charity Kayembe has helped me so much with my dreams! She is such a gem and an amazing friend! And that is her showing up in my dream.

The setting of my dream: The day before I had this dream, I had been focusing on using vision as I prayed.
I recorded my dream
There is a war going on, and people are deciding where in the US they are going to go to. On the left side of the US, from Kansas are a bunch of horizontally lined dots where you can station.
Then I’m at a party. Taylor Swift is there, and she’s a little stand-off-ish toward me. I’m wearing some outdated pink heels with tall black socks and a dress. The socks with my heels don’t really fit, but I think if I can just find my jacket, it will make it look like they do.
Taylor comes back and shows me she’s got some different shoes for me. They are black high heels that are *very* high. Those are a little too high for me; I won’t feel comfortable in those. I’m not accepting her suggestion. She doesn’t think that’s a good idea, but she shrugs and walks away.
Then I find out that on the right side of the map are colors instead of dots. This seems much more appealing to me! I will go fight over on this side! There are places in PA that are all colored on the map, and there's a specific spot in PA, a little lower from the top of and on the left side. Charity lives there, maybe I can stay with her. I’m not sure how I’m going to get there though. I’ll be walking, and walking across just one state is a lot, let alone several states.
My interpretation of the dream based on the "DAESI" method
I am learning about and needing to use the right side of my brain for vision in “hearing” God speak to me, vs the left side of my brain of reason and logic. My heart is desiring for me to go "station" myself on this side. It's a little uncomfortable trying to do so, so I need to repent for wanting to choose to stay “comfortable” rather than go higher with Him.
The US is my brain, and the war that’s going on is the fight between using my left or my right side of my brain. The left side shows dots, which is analytical reasoning, logic. The right side shows color, which is vision, imagery. PA (Pennsylvania) represents a PA system, like a sound system, to “hear” God speak through vision. In the dream, Charity lives in PA and her name means love, which represents my heart here. The particular spot in PA that was emphasized matches up with the location of where my heart actually is in my body. Pictures/imagery are the language of the heart and that’s why it seemed much more appealing to me. The dream is trying to show me that's where my heart wants to be and wants to live out of!
My outdated pink heels are a walk with the Lord that needs to be updated. Taylor Swift presenting me with new shoes is an opportunity for a new walk, and the very high heels symbolize an opportunity for a higher walk with God through vision. I was uncomfortable about it in the dream, which shows I’m uncomfortable in this area, and I want to stay where I am, so I need to repent!
Taylor Swift, being a huge music star, she is representing the right side of my brain part of me, as music is right-brained. The last name Swift is a message it would be beneficial to make some "swift" changes and agree with moving into vision and a new higher walk with the Lord, as well as even though I feel like it's going to take a long time to get there, as symbolized by thinking it's going to take a long time to walk from one state to another one, it might be a little bit more of a "swifter" adjustment than I think.
God speaks to me about this dream
My Daughter,
How did I teach? I taught in parables. I taught in stories and in pictures. I spoke in words, yet I painted a picture. When I spoke, I made it easy.
I asked my prophets, “What do you see?” I showed them a picture.
A picture makes it simple, and it touches the heart. Pictures ARE the language of the heart. And if you desire to live out of your heart like I desire for you, seek pictures.
You will move someone’s heart with a picture. You will touch someone’s soul. See the image in your mind. Look for the image with the eyes of your heart. When it resonates with your heart’s eyes, it WILL leap within you! It will bring it to life.
My prophets received vision. I spoke in vision to them. I made music out of My pictures for them. They understood My concepts and My message by receiving the picture with their visionary capacity, says the Lord. And because they saw, they were able to speak eloquently and bring forth My Truth.
Paint pictures with your words, just like I do. Tell a story in a teaching, just like I do. And since I speak by illustrating pictures, you can watch to see what I will speak to thee (Hab 2). Look for the picture, the symbolism, the metaphor in all that you do. You will grasp My concepts and My wisdom in far greater capacity than if you don’t look for these things, says the Lord.
Look for My vision, My hand, My face on the inner screen of your mind.
Be willing and open to receive the spontaneous pictures that I flash before your mind so that you can see My will and My direction for you. Hearing My voice will become much simpler when you are looking for what I am saying, versus only trying to listen.
Even though someone is saying something to you, if their actions don’t match (what you see), what do you go by? Actions. Actions speak louder than words.
Eyesight is dominant for most people. Let’s make the eyesight of your heart the more dominant and exercised sense of your heart.
Bring back the eyesight! Let blind eyes be open in the name of Jesus! Open others’ blinded eyes of their hearts by restoring vision and the need for vision, says the Lord. Lead others into seeing with the eyes of their heart once again and no longer being blinded. Let them see vision and let them dream dreams!
Now it’s your turn
- As you are drifting off to sleep, ask God to grant you revelation on an issue you are dealing with.
- Put a pen and paper next to your bed (or use the Dream Keys app on your phone) and record the dream when you awaken.
- In the morning, ponder how the images are symbols revealing God’s answer to you.
- Journal and let God speak directly to you about His message through the dream.
- Act on the dream, honoring and obeying His wonderful counsel.
- Enjoy an increasingly fruitful life!
