Regarding the Shaun Bolz Controversy
xpmedia.com curates the media of many ministries within the charismatic movement to provide a single, accessible platform where users can encounter multiple points of view. Our purpose has always been to serve the body of Christ - believers, seekers, and even those who question - by sharing teaching and testimony with care and discernment.
I believe accountability in church leadership is essential. When leaders fall into error, sin, or misconduct, those in apostolic and pastoral authority have a sacred responsibility to protect the flock, even when doing so carries cost to their own ministries. Taking a bold stand for truth, regardless of loss, is the mark of a true shepherd of Jesus Christ.
With deep regret, as xpmedia.com's content curator and a watchman on the wall, I did not always publicly raise the alarm when certain contributors became embroiled in controversy. I confronted them privately but, in some circumstances, chose to quietly remove their material. For that silence I repent before you. When accountability fails to protect God's people, more decisive measures are necessary to safeguard the vulnerable among us who have fallen victim to a leader's sins. We must not place ministry platforms above the wellbeing of the flock.
Effective immediately, xpmedia.com will temporarily suspend operations while a period of thorough investigation takes place to ensure that the integrity and character of all our contributors are realigned with biblical truth.
I have posted links to relevant videos below so that you may see for yourselves and as always, take your concerns to the Lord in prayer. Go first into your own heart and seek the Lord's voice in private; He speaks to those who seek Him.
I pray for your precious hearts who have placed your trust in the xpmedia.com network. Please pray for the victim's healing and for all leaders and ministries within the charismatic world to come into alignment with truth, no matter the cost.
Grace and peace,
Shirley Ross
